Simple and Sweet Cottage Home Ideas

This is a random post about simple and sweet things...
I am busy making and designing doll bedding.
Shabby, Cottage, White....I love sweet little designs. My mind is brimming with ideas. I look on Pinterest, in catalogs, Pottery Barn sites...the ideas flood my mind. I told my husband I need a staff to help me sew....He rolls his eyes....
Pink and white, and black...one of my favorites...I sew in many combinations of this color...
This bedding set was made for a granddaughter...the grandfather had made her American Girl sized bunk beds for her birthday...so I made this bedding set twice for the bunk beds. I love little rosettes, ruffles, lots of pillows....
The bed set below is for a miniature dollhouse sized bed...little beds with mattresses, sheets, comforters, shams...and lots of soft and sweet pillows.

The tiny linen cabinet is filled with fold pieces of fabric, some or cottage style tablecloths I have made for small tables, sheets and pillow sets...cottage style for a small cottage style home.
This is what my days are filled with, designing, creating and sewing...it is wonderful...I am home taking care of my sweet mom who is 86.  Unfortunately she is forgetting many things...so I have her come in my sewing room while I am in there. It is a sweet time...she taught me to sew.
Blessings,
Debbie

How sweet to have your mama with you. These are precious times for you both. My mother taught me to sew as well. Years of 4-H projects and dress reviews. I am so thankful for her patience and care. I love fabric - especially red gingham, so the little bedding sets you make are especially cute! Have a wonderful week.

Whoops - that comment was from me! Sorry - but, I do just love your sweet things, especially the red gingham. These are precious times with your dear mama.
