HOW TO MAKE A VALENTINE'S STATION-Cards, stickers, letters, tags and Candy!

WELCOME TO MY NECK OF THE WOODS...
I WANTED TO INVITE YOU TO JOIN ME THIS WEEK IN MAKING A VALENTINE'S STATION.

IT IS SOOOO EASY....
I SHOPPED MY HOUSE (I'm a crafter/quilter)
BUT MOST OF THESE 10 everyday ITEMS YOU SHOULD HAVE!
I found an old cupboard and filled it up....
1. VALENTINES (pre-made is fine)
or CARDS and ENVELOPES, preferably in white, red and pink.
2. glue sticks and tape (even a glue gun would be fine)
3. Pens, pencils, crayons
4.stickers
5. Ribbon, twine and rick rack (pinks, reds, whites)
6.tags of all shapes and sizes.
7.buttons
8. LOLLIPOPS & OTHER VALENTINE'S CANDY.
9. BOXED CANDY HEARTS
*************
10. TREAT BAGS TO TAKE HOME ALL YOUR GOODIES YOU MAKE AND EAT.
You could use any holders or containers...
I had old pink melmac bowls, cups, little milk pitchers....
I grouped things in heart shaped bowls, Shabby Chic metal boxes that I store little home office things in...
Vintage muffin tins always work for me...
I get them at thrift stores and fill them up with nails, screws, staples, you name it.
All my tool drawers are filled with them!

Invite your friends over for a little pre-Valentine snack, and while you are visiting give your creative side an opportunity to make something and unique for a family member, friend, or sweetheart.
Find the card you want,
write something on the inside....
and then embellish little tags with buttons, ribbons, sticker and glue it to your card.

For years my hubby and I would take our kids out for Valentine's day...
we included them to show them how a date should be, how a gentleman should treat a woman, and how a woman should treat a gentleman.
We wanted to train our kids how you act....before you go on the date...

*******************

My first date with my husband ended up with me spilling food all over my  blouse...

and I may have fallen asleep
before the date was over....
I was in college...and didn't sleep much...
and since my tummy was full....
and I was so relaxed...
I don't know...
it could have happened like he said!
Hahahaha....
34 years later....I'm still not sure if I should believe him!!!!!
I STILL ADORE HIM.

I shopped my house for little cards, tags and stickers....I wanted to
use the letters to spell out a name or a secret message....
XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO

Ribbons for making bows or hanging tags on.

Uhhhh the candy below
....for the photo op
....may have disappeared during the actual picture taking....
I'm not sure what happened....
I'm just sayin'
Just a few little Valentine's sweets for your sweet ones....or you! And some treat bags or baggies to take their sweets home.
SHABBY STYLE TINS HOLD GOODIE BAGS, LETTERS, STICKERS, MORE RIBBON...
VINTAGE STYLE MUFFIN TIN:
holds alphas for gluing on to your Valentines.
FREE PRINTABLES to print out on card stock,  CUT OUT AND USE ON YOUR TAGS, CARDS OR LOVE NOTES.
I hope this inspires you to make your own little Valentine station for all to enjoy!
