Mercury Glass Inspiration for Fall

Welcome once again to our farmhouse home!
I have been inspired by all the photos and inspiration on Pinterest, in the latest magazines, using Mercury glass for decorating.

Some of mine is faux(fake), but I'm enjoying the look mixed in with natural and rustic elements.
Love the honeysuckle branches mixed in with the silver....

This month is 31 days of Fall Inspiration at my blog, inspired by Melissa @ The Inspired Room. Also joining Susan @ Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday!

(Love this blog!)

Our family(several generations back) collects china and dishes. My husband's grandmother actually hand painted all of our china. Very shabby chic pink roses. It is exquisite. Hence our need for two china hutches in the dining room.

My husband bought me the pumpkin soup tureens and serving tureen at a consignment store in Palm Springs.  When I got home and unpacked them I turned them over to see where they were from....
William's Sonoma....
gasp...out loud.

Are you using any silver with your fall decorating? I'd love to know and see your posts!

Great images of mercury glass items and pumpkins, I just love them all! I have two candle sticks, two pretty votives and two pedestal cake stands, one small and one bigger...I love mercury glass. But your tablescape for fall, it's simply stunning! I love the color with the yellows and all your dining room with two hutches is gorgeous!! How wonderful you have family that share the love for dishes with you.Big hugs,

No silver here but I think it looks very elegant!

I think it's wonderful how versatile the pumpkin is!

Thanks for posting! ♥

Your tablescape is so beautiful--I love those pumpkin bowls and tureen! I also really like how you interwove the silver and mercury glass finishes into your complete table look--it's very pretty. I have my mother's two vintage-looking silver teapots on my fall mantel as part of the autumn decorations there--I filled them with green hydrangeas this time around!

You've given me a lot to think about.. adding silver. What a great idea. Must try that this year. Only i doubt i can pull it off as well as you did. You have great style and your table reflects that. Great find on the tureens! xo marlis

One of these days I'm going to have to get some mercury glass. I love the touch of glamor it adds to your table.

Love your table! You've managed to use white and orange so beautifully! You see a lot of creams and browns, but not too much white during Autumn. This was really beautiful.
