Sewing is my passion so my creative spot is filled with fabrics of every color. My heart swoons when I see folded fabric on my shelves! hahaha...kind of gets to me!
From baby quilts, to table runners, to wedding garments, I love to sew, create and design with fabric, thread, ribbons and laces...you name it.
On the book shelf I have various baskets filled with lace, boullion fringe, patterns, cross stitch fabrics and threads, and notebooks filled with vintage patterns, embroidery designs, and ideas.
There are shelves filled with ring bearer pillows which I love to make and sell. I love sewing wedding accessories, and I usually make them out of vintage wedding dresses or old style flower girl dresses that will never be worn again.
I recovered soup cans with various scrapbook papers, lace and embellishments. They help organize my large supply of rick rack in every color. I'm not sure why I love rick rack but I do!!
Vintage bread pans help organize all my ribbons.
On the other side of the sewing/creating room is a twin bed for guests or my kids when they are visiting.
From baby quilts, to table runners, to wedding garments, I love to sew, create and design with fabric, thread, ribbons and laces...you name it.
I took a bookcase (cheap one from Walmart!) and added an old door from a junk pile. The handle on it is a garden style door knocker.

I used old shutters nailed to the wall to give the illusion of an old vintage garden style headboard.

What an assortment of fabrics and
colors... I love to quilt but never
get enough time to do it.. but I have
made quilts for all my children and
their children so they will have
a piece of me later in life...
Lovely space and post.
