Americana on the Porch

We have had a good week and a rough week.
My dad is in the hospital and it has been rough to see him away from my mom....
but it has been good too because they are so in love with each other and happy to see each other.

CALIFORNIA SALAD...I LOVE IT. GREENS, FRUITS, NUTS, VEGGIES. I LOVE CRUNCHY, SWEET, TART, AND ALL OF IT WITH A FRESH DRESSING ON IT. PERFECT FOR A SUMMER LUNCHEON.

I SHOULD HAVE PAID MORE ATTENTION TO THE LITTLE BLONDE AT THE END OF THE TABLE....
CAME OUTSIDE AND SHE HAD STRUCK EACH PLATE HOLDING A CUPCAKE!
THE BLUE FROSTING WAS THE FIRST CLUE IT WAS HER AND NOT MY HUSBAND! BIG SMILE...
Thank you for stopping by! Have an awesome week and weekend.
ALSO I was featured over at Kim's

for my flag door.
Yay!
Playing along with these wonderful blog parties!

This is such a pretty tablescape and patio. I just love everything - and the BIG flag - WOW! I will pray for your sweet daddyl. I met him one time, at our Bible College in Oregon. I have never forgotten his message. Blessings to you and your family.

That small wheelbarrow is adorable holding the salad! Everything looks perfect for my FIL's Fourth of July birthday. He'll be 90 years old. Could you manage to box it all up and send it to me? Just had to ask!♥♫

That little stinker! Bet she was happy though! Love your patriotic table. Right now, I am tableless...but that will be corrected on Friday - finally!

What a gorgeous table! I love everything but especially the tiny wheelbarrow/salad bowl. You are so clever to have thought of that.
Your door looks great behind the table.

My prayers go out for your Dad's speedy recovery. How sweet that your parents give meaning to " A True Love Story" has no ending.

Your door is the greatest idea for a flag that I have seen, but your pup even outshines the flag.

Happy Memorial Day,
dgmills

Goodness this is beautiful! That door is a stunning piece - no wonder it was featured -- but the little 'blonde' steals the show on this post! How cute is that with the evidence right on the snout!?
