Sweet thoughts and little aprons

Thank you for your sweet comments on my last post.  My father in law did pass away last night.
We as a family prayed together, sang some wonderful hymns and made it a memorable home going. We held his hand and loved him and then he held God's hand...
very precious.

One thing that is good for my soul and it quietly helps me focus...
is hand stitching...
for me it is soothing to work on something
while I'm thinking...
I can take it with me...while with a group of people...

I can work on something I enjoy.  In this case it is little aprons.

I'm either making a small wall quilt or pillow for my sewing room/guest room which is red and white with bits of yellow. I think I want to design this so it looks like little aprons hanging from a clothesline...
I love the look of quilts on a clothesline or white linens...but this is bright and cheery, with happy colors.
The one below covers my Ivory liquid dish soap.

Blessings,
Debbie

I'm sorry to hear about your father-in-law.

I hope you someday have a granddaughter because you are going to be the bestest Nana ever. I see lots more little aprons, dresses and doll clothes in your future.

Hugs, Gretchen

Hi Debbie ~ first time to your blog. I came over from Aiken H&G. I was touched by the way you ushered your father-in-law into eternity. She should all be so blessed. May blessings.
