I had a thought...
When you drive up to your home...
What do you want to see?
I have never been into generic, plain, boring, colorless...

I like flowers...
lots of them
bright ones,
pretty ones,
they just make my heart happy!

I've never been a person that is just happy with 1 lawn, 2 shrubs, 3 trees, with BORING WRITTEN ALL OVER IT!
And I realize not everyone can have an old bathtub in their driveway because they don't all live in the country. But everyone could plant a couple of flowers....somewhere...or even
just one.

Do flowers make your heart sing?

I plant as many pots as I can in the late spring...I LOVE color! Your flowers are so pretty, it looks like summer at your place!

I love how you have tucked violas into ivy and all the other planters. I am like you in that I enjoy the little fun things that make my garden and yard different from everyone else.

Debbie, I love your flowers and I totally agree with you about planting them everywhere and that they make your yard excitingly not boring. I have tulips popping up all over my yard right now and I can hardly wait for them to bloom. It's still to cold for anything else in our climate as of yet. Your photos got me excited about spring planting . . . just waiting for actual spring weather. Connie :)
