Instead of painting, I found an old pallet, there are quite a few under feed bags by the barn...dragged it up to the house...
and decided I wanted to make a patio shelf for our back porch.
Sprayed it off for several minutes after all it was down by the barn.
Just a few nails, a hammer and a hand saw...
nailing nails into wood with a hammer is good for one's soul..
Releases tension, frustration....sour attitude!
So I decided it was 'PALLET THERAPY', plus I ended up with a shelf for my porch.
I attached a plant hook up on the left side, and hung a mason jar wrapped with wire for a handle.
I hammered a few nails to just to hang tools, trowels, etc.
Joining in with these great parties.

Love this idea! Living on a farm, I can think a zillion places I could use something like this. Thanks for sharing! Hugs, Sher
Yippee! I let out a silent AM scream when I saw my name!!! Thank you so much, Debbie! :)
And that pallet idea? You clever girl! It's Marvelous! My boys made a fence out of pallets one but I never saw a shelf in one. Now that you've done it- it's right there! To me, these type of creations are on par with a sculpter who sees what's there with different eyes. ♥
Oh you are the cleverest girl. I love the worn patina of the wood.
That is really cute....I love all the things being made out of pallets...and we can NEVER have enough shelves!!
Love, love this. This pallet has the look of barn board, beautifully weathered.
Great idea.
Thanks for sharing.

Debbie,
What a great idea! I have been hunting around for a pallet or two. I don't have any out back with feedbags on them!
