Embracing Red in your Decorating...Don't be afraid!

Have  you embraced your 'RED' side?  You know most of the time we lean toward calm, serene, peaceful, neutral....
BUT every once in awhile we need to steer away from generic, sameness,
blah....
and just yield to our RED side.
------------------------
I KNOW NEUTRAL IS IN...
but I'M NOT A WOMAN WHO RIDES THE TIDAL WAVE
OF WHAT EVERYONE ELSE IS DOING!
SO I'VE EMBRACED A LITTLE BIT OF RED...OK A LOT!

SOUP CAN STORAGE...ITS INEXPENSIVE...IN YOUR PANTRY JUST WAITING TO BE DECORATED...AND IT IS DEFINITELY REUSING AND REPURPOSING!

 FARMHOUSE PORCH...

ONE OF MY ROSES...

DON'T LET OTHER PEOPLE DETERMINE WHAT COLOR GOES IN YOUR HOUSE...IF YOU LOVE SOMETHING...ENJOY IT! FARMER HUBBY SAID HE DIDN'T LIKE RED...I SAID THINK OF IT AS THE COLOR OF  A TOMATO!
NEEDLESS TO SAY I HAVE A COUCH AND CHAIRS THE COLOR OF
TOMATOES!

I have embraced red for some time now. I have had red in my kitchen for many many years. It is so cheery and uplifting.I love red and green. Neutral is boring to me. Well, I don't have bright colors in my living room but I do like them in my kitchen!!

Your reds are great!!!

I think it looks great! Colorful yet warm and inviting. It looks like a kitchen where you want to sit and talk for hours over some home made goodies.

Happy Pink Saturday Debbie Sweetie...
Oh I am so happy to see someone else that loves red as much as I do. I have been embracing my bright side for some time. I even painted one dining room wall - accent with red. I love it. I will never change that wall. What depth it gave the room. I love it.

I love your little stove and the muffin tins filled with candies. So sweet. Where on earth did you find the little stove? I have been searching for one for years. It is so precious.

I too repurpose my cans. I wash them and use them for another item down the road. Sometimes just a flower or two from my garden.

I have so enjoyed my visit today. Thank you for the beautiful share sweet friend. Country hugs and Happy Valentine's Day, Sherry

Love all of the redness! And I so agree, you have to go with your heart and not the trends.

Why don't you link your post to Seasonal Sundays?

Oh am I ever a red lover. Almost my entire home is red. I love to throw in a bit of turquoise and yellow here and there. I too have a red leather sofa and loveseat. Your farmnhouse is so dang cute! I spied the little stove. Lve, love it! I collect old toys. I saw a stove similar at an antique mall, but it was a pretty penny. Your porch is so inviting. Lovin it all!

Jann
