Hey there! I hope your weekend has been amazing. My husband took me to a Joyce Meyers' conference this weekend in Long Beach and it was amazing and very encouraging!
She said something that has really stayed with me...
do now and prepare now for what you
will be happy with in the future. Make wise choices now...
that you won't regret a year from now...
One year ago we started
a huge house addition to prepare for moving my parents in with us.
It turned into an enormous project that took several months....
Downstairs was a living/kitchen area for my parents and upstairs was a bathroom for our farmhouse.
We moved upstairs where there had been a tiny closet with a toilet in it...and two bedrooms..that smelled like boys socks.
We went for a fairly traditional look that would go with the rest of the house...but we painted a pale ocean blue and used lots of white accessories...for a peaceful serene look.
This armoire I got at a thrift store, painted it white and it stores quilts, blankets, towels, every day linens.
As we get ready for the fall and winter months, my parents are tucked in safely with us. Looking
forward to having our kids home for Thanksgiving...doing many projects now so we
can just sit...visit...snuggle...and enjoy one another.
Life is precious, needs to be enjoyed with good meals, lots of laughter...
and REMEMBERING.

That is an amazing bathroom remodel! Have you shared what the new part of the downstairs looks like? Nice that you were able to add on to have room and space for your parents.
