All White Fall Table and Buffet

This time of year is such a beautiful time...I enjoy all of it.
I've learned to enjoy it in 5 ways.
1.  Smell:  Enjoy my favorite scented candles.
2. See:  Look at great cookbooks and magazines for fun ideas and recipes.
Hear: Listen to my favorite music.
Touch:  Get out favorite quilts and throws to cuddle in while watching t.v. or blogging.
Taste: Make my favorite coffee drinks and taste my favorite recipes that I'm cooking! Yay
All white...or at least close! We entertain a lot...(church and family, you name it...we COOK!) so I have many dishes and candles. White is easy for church buffets, pot lucks, etc.

You just add colored napkins and punch to match and you can decorate for weddings, baby showers, anniversaries, Pastor appreciation or just barbecue at home.  I gathered all my white dishes and white candles and glass containers and decorated with a fallish feel.
this is no lie...I heard tapping at the front door and looked out my storm door and here were some of the turkeys we are raising...they get out all the time and were at my front door! hahaha...

Oh I have the farmhouse stories about animals...and they love to get out...out of the barn, the corral, their fenced in pen...you name it. If they are in it...they want out of it.

I love the rustic feel of burlap next to crystal and roses and little white pumpkins...
Roses are from our rose bushes that are finally blooming...in October!

Next, the buffet next to the table...

I heard recently that you should do today what you will be happy with tomorrow.

With that thought...I am organizing dishes, tablecloths, linen closets.  Each day I'm working on straightening and organizing one area.

Trying to do now what will help when the holidays come. I want to enjoy and not feel pressured when we have family over.  It is fun to decorate the house, and know your closets are clean or at least straightened...so that if anyone were to look...you wouldn't feel panic!!!!
Thanks so much for coming by.
I'm also joining in today with
Blessings,

What a gorgeous post, Debbie! Your table is just beautiful, I never would have thought to combine white pumpkins and roses. It's all just so lovely! And that is too funny about your turkeys!

You are so right about doing what you want! I am on vacation and I should be moving out my summer clothes to fall and cleaning. But the weather is gorgeous and I am happy working outside!

Lovely table:) At my old house when it would get cold we used to have peacocks that would "knock" on the door. Drove the dogs nuts!

Wouldn't it have been REALLY freaky if the turkey reached in a cabinet, pulled out a roasting pan and began to baste itself? :-) Animals are funny...they do weird things! For them to show up at your front door...REALLY weird! Very nice table, and I LOVE the shape of the white mini pumpkins!!! They are so different!

Your table is one of the most beautiful fall tablescapes I have ever seen! But I'm crazy for white! The pumpkins and roses together are just exquisite!

I have a basic philosophy...anyone who looks in my closets or cabinets doesn't get invited back! LOL. I have definite boundaries for public and private. You set a wonderful table with a neat combination of elements. I know that your guests felt completely pampered. Thank you for sharing your lovely design. Cherry Kay
