a LITTLE BAKING-VINTAGE OVEN STYLE

I love to do a little baking...and no the little vintage ovens I have do not bake. But I do have happy memories of the little Easy Bake oven my mom and I would pull out of my toy box. I remember being giddy just stirring up the little cake mixes...with the little bowl and spoon...adding little bits of water to get the mix to the right consistency.

Now we have fresh eggs from our chickens...some of them are rather small. But fresh eggs are like fresh bread coming out of the oven. They just taste so goooooood!

I made little cookies, love to bake little things for our neighbor kids when they come over to play or see the chickens and turkeys. The little bakery items fit just right in little hands!

Ok we have a few chickens and turkeys outside..they happen to be loose in the driveway at the time so I grabbed several pictures. Normally they are up in the barn so the coyotes don't get them! Yes we have watch dogs...who sleep the night through and think the COYOTES ARE THEIR COUSINS....family looks after family right?
The turkeys and chickens are already arguing about Thanksgiving! We haven't spilled the beans to any of them...makes them restless!
Joining in with vintage Farmhouse Friday fun! http://laurieannas.blogspot.com/ and Debra at Common Ground Yay for lots of Vintage Goodness! Blessings, Debbie

Hey There Debbie

I've been snooping behind the scenes, but haven't had the time to comment. So glad to see that you and your family are well. Bring on Thanksgiving and all the festivities!
