Casual Cottage Style Porch Meal ~

Welcome to our back porch....we like to sit here and visit, eat watermelon, water flowers, tell family stories...you name it...we have lots of fun here.
Just a casual meal, with a casual table...focusing in on the sweet friends and family we are so blessed to have with us.
The chargers are old wooden plates I found while thrifting...most of the containers that hold white flowers have been found also while thrifting and then spray painted white. That is one of my favorite things to do. Find a container...spray paint it white...then plant white flowers in it.
My hubby said Home Depot called and said they had to turn my name in to the Riverside County Sherriff department for buying too many cans of spray paint. hahahaha...oh isn't he funny!
Joining in with these wonderful parties:

The vintage bathtub always has seasonal flowers from it. During the fall I fill it to the brim with autumn colored mums, and for the winter/Christmas I put little Christmas trees and lots of lights in it! I love it!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

What an amazing back porch! I have been wanting to paint some of my terra cotta planters white but haven't found the time to do it! I also thought about putting some numbers on it after I spray paint it. Home depot tracks my spray paint purchases by putting my drivers licence into the computer. My sister also paints alot and she said they never ask her for this! I would have had a heart attack if my husband said Home Depot called...I would have totally fallen for it!
Thank you for your sweet comments on my blog!

Hi Debbie,
Your table looks lovely, and so charming with all the green plants and the lattice. I love lattice and have it in my backyard and on my porch chairs. It is a lovely setting and looks like a nice place to relax and enjoy.

Hi Debbie,
Left a comment, but not sure it went thru, so you might have 2, don't know.
Anywho....loved you lovely tablescape and the setting where you have it is just beautiful with the green plants,
white, and lattice. I love lattice too, and have it in my backyard in several places and on my porch chairs. It is such a clean relaxing look, yet elegant all at the same time.
Enjoyed your blog hon,
Blessings, Nellie

OK, My comment goes to this "Is your family blog trained?"
Oh my I had to just giggle out loud!

"Don't eat that, it's for the blog," or "don't touch that, it's for the picture for the blog!" When they see me start to put stuff away they look at me like peasants, sad little eyes......"Oh go ahead, you can eat it all NOW!"
I thought I was the only one!!
