Ok I have a bit of a fixation...tablerunners. I am addicted to them and have one in every color just about. My style is pretty much cottage style...but I love prim...farmhouse, shabby...etc. Setting the table has
become a weekly ritual for me...hubby has a box by the table...so when he sets stuff down on the table....
it gets put in the box...so when he asks..."honey
where is my ???? I just sweetly reply...."LOok in the BOX!"
...THIS WAy...my table looks nice...and...he can always find his stuff...
that he just
has loves to put on the table!

Very pretty tablerunners. We have a low rectangular wicker basket on our high breakfast bar that we can easily toss school notes, books and odds and ends in to keep the kitchen tidy and keep those 'going to school' items handy.
