Vintage Decor~White, Red and Blue

I hope your weekend is blessed and wonderful~fireworks, food, family and friends! Sounds wonderful to me!
Once again I'm showing my old door that I repurposed and painted(using masking tape)red white and blue....added a metal star from Joann's and voila it sets the whole tone for our back porch.
On the back porch is an old coat rack that holds old farm tools and a metal star that has been spray painted.
Vintage rooster is from hubby's grandmother passed down to us. We are blessed to have so many things from grandmothers...old quilts, milk cans, planters, linens and yummy plates!

Blessings and Happy Independence day!

Vintage reds and whites in the dining~kitchen area

Summertime is wonderful...love being outside...or inside...as long as we have friends and family over. Barbecuing...eating watermelon...drinking frosty cold glasses of ice tea! Yep, I love it!
The napkin rings are from thrifting in Palm Springs...I find quite a few placemats, napkin rings, dishes, etc. in Palm Springs. People love to get the latest thing and seem to donate last years treasures....woohoo!
Loved having our family over this week for dinner and setting the table for the holiday this weekend seemed appropriate! They know to ask "have you taken the picture yet?" Hahaha...they've been trained well!
Vintage pitchers and soup tureens are a key part of my kitchen decor, I love it when I find them while thrifting. Many vintage items~little chickens, roosters, dishes, linens all grace the table and dining room area. Can you tell I'm partial to red? Hahaha...love it...it is a happy color I think!

Hope your weekend is fabulous!

More Porch Decor~Therapy

Wonderful days...we've spent time with our kids who are visiting from out of state and we have enjoyed our porch so much....
Barbecue...watermelon...homemade ice cream and cold ice team...yummmy!
We sit outside and laugh about family stories, tell jokes and have such a great time. I enjoy our kids so much...and to sit out on the porch..it's like our other living room!
Flowers are blooming everywhere, ivy is trailing down from planters, and roses are spilling out over porch railings...I'm just loving it. A true farmhouse has a big porch for everyone to sit out on and relax after a hard day's worth of work!
Wish you all could come by for a visit!
