Porch~Americana

We have slowly gotten our porch and outdoor decorating done. With the bad weather, it hasn't been easy. It is S. California and we had another frost last night...it is almost June...and warm weather only visits us now and then! I painted a flag on an old door left over from our renovation. Hubby insisted we hang it to show it off.
Joining in with several fun parties today!
I used masking tape and spray painted one color at a time and then hung a metal star over the navy blue square instead of painting stars. I love it~ And the more weathered it gets the more I like it~

Joining in with these parties!

Happy Memorial Day!
I'm proud and deeply moved to be an American! How about you?
Blessings,
Debbie

I love your flag!! Where is the hole for the doorknob though? I don't see it anywhere. You covered it well :-)
Your porch looks so pretty. It's been cold here too, but today was beautiful. Maybe it's finally about to warm up.
Have a great week!

Also, thanks so much for your sweet comment on my embroidery. I did the stitchin' but I can't take credit for the adorable pattern. It's from Stitcher's Revolution, and the pattern set is called Kitch'n Stitch'n. The set is full of so many cute patterns~ I love it!
