We have slowly gotten our porch and outdoor decorating done. With the bad weather, it hasn't been easy. It is S. California and we had another frost last night...it is almost June...and warm weather only visits us now and then! I painted a flag on an old door left over from our renovation. Hubby insisted we hang it to show it off.
I used masking tape and spray painted one color at a time and then hung a metal star over the navy blue square instead of painting stars. I love it~ And the more weathered it gets the more I like it~

Vintage Tablecloth~ Red and White Polka dots
What a great weekend it is going to be! I can't wait! Our table is ready...not sure about the rest of the house....hahahaha!
I don't know about you but I am absolutely addicted to the weather channel right now....it's reality tv at its best...my kids are all in tornado parts of the country...so we have been doing lots of praying!
Joining these gals for fun parties!

I used vintage glass ware and napkins/napkin rings and of course a wonderful vintage tablecloth. I love looking at them on Ebay or Etsy!
Then I did find some sweet little thrifted items...hand crocheted placemats...one of my fave finds! The cupcakes were made in old/small canning glass jars. These are my new favorite thing to bake in. Love the individual look of desert for everyone!
Blessings,
Debbie

Sunny day Porch day...
A little porch time is in order for spring...even the chickens are ready to visit our porch!
We are getting the farmhouse porch in gear for planting and spring cleaning. I love sitting on our porch in the morning drinking coffee getting ready for the day...it has been so chilly lately we have had a frost several times. I don't usually plant flowers till June...hopefully no more frost!
Blessings,
Debbie

White and Thrifted...and spray painted
My husband is so funny! He keeps telling me that Home Depot has my name on a list for buying too much spray paint...and the police have been notified! Yikes...you know here in California they keep the spray paint behind a locked gate...seriously. You have to get someone to unlock it for you...and at Home Depot they ask to see your driver's license and put you on a list. I'm not lying...
That hasn't stopped moi!
Warm weather is here let the spraying begin! I think the best projects have to involve a little wrist action...nozzles...and the soft hum of paint being sprayed on something...
My thrift store armoire...is my favorite...I rolled it with a paint roller...
thrifted plate...one of my favorite china finds...
Our bathroom during the building process...I wanted to add white touches...boy did I get lucky...I found things and went hog wild spraying them white...
even if the pitchers weren't white they still got it...after all this was a bathroom...they wouldn't be used for kitchen things...
the hutch when it arrived. See the dent in the truck? I tease my hubby he drives by the "touch system"..he backs out until he touches something and then brakes! Buwahahahaha
Old vintage rose picture with thrifted paper roses....one of my favorites!
Check out Susan for more beautiful blogs and projects!
Daughter keeps asking me where her jewelry went? In the linen cabinet of course!
Blessings,
Debbie
