God just laughs....

The one on the left is graduating (by the Grace of God) next weekend.  Mama and Dad will be attending (crying profusely....out of relief).  This one took us by surprise.
When I look at him I still see my little guy with his shirt hanging out....shoes untied...socks wadded up inside the shoe...hair a mess....pants unsnapped....
disorganized but focused...couldn't remember where his shoes were but memorized all his spelling lists in order...
could hook up the tv to the vcr at 9 years old....hmmmm...we always wondered...what would he become?

Always loved and cared for his little sissy...they are now at college together....sniff sniff....
Our oldest son on the left, their dad, Cardiff and our daughter in laws wonderful brother...all great men.
My son speaking to kids in Paraguay...he loves to joke around with kids while teaching them Bible stories.

He and his team led worship in a large church in Indonesia.
He said Bali had the most beautiful shoreline and beach.

The doctors told us over and over again he was sick, had cancer, had symptoms that were of course never good...we would leave the doctor's office feeling helpless...hopeless.....
But thank you God for your goodness....he is healthy, graduating from college in a few days and traveling all over as the leader of worship/missions teams at his college.  He loves it, lives for it.

I did however threaten him that he couldn't live overseas...I need to see my grandbabies!
As a kid he was the messiest....now organized in his new postition at the college as Director of worship/missions (musical and sharing the gospel).
As a kid he played the playstation for hours...now plays with musical technical stuff at church.  He could never find his shoes, glasses, homework... and now is in charge of visas, passports, large amounts of money!  God has a funny sense of humor with us parents...I would have said 'there is no way...' but God just laughs and says "oh yes there is a way!"
Don't ever disbelieve what God can do...I'm the parent of a miracle.
"With  men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." Matthew 19:26

This brought tears to my eyes..I look at the pic of your three and see my own three, just younger versions..as you described your son, how I connected with what you wrote in so many ways with my own son..."I'm the parent of a miracle." I could just start crying over that statement...Thank you so much for sharing this..it truly was a blessing to my heart and I believe a 'message' for me from our Lord God..the one that makes the impossible possible!!

A wonderful post honoring such a fine son. You have every right to be proud. We all have a few flaws, but deep inside there is better stuff.
