A little Springtime Tour

Hello everyone!  What have you been up to today?  I've been
visiting with the little chicks and sheep!

"The sheep are out!"

Farmhouse Hubby:  Sweet the sheep are out...
Farmer's wife:   grrrrrrr
Farmhouse Hubby:  Can you help me?
Farmer's wife:  sure (grrrrr-ing on the inside)
I decided a long time ago....after much prayer...and God fussing at me for my attitude...yes my attitude...
I decided that if my husband asked me to do something and needed my help...I would say 'YES'...without
grumbling...without an ugly response...without being difficult....I would just say YES.
We chase sheep on occassion...sometimes the sheep go in the corral...sometimes they giggle and run past me...knowing if they run faster I will lose my breath quicker...
I wonder if God giggles at me....as I run breathlessly...knowing that He is really looking at my heart....not how fast I run!
"Living as becomes you with complete humbleness and meekness, gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another and making allowances because you love one another." Ephesians  4:2

Pink Springtime, bunnies, dishes,cloches...what?

Pink Saturday....I'm lovin' my new but old pink melmac dishes that I got for my birthday.
I told my husband thank you and he said for what?
For the birthday present you got me on Ebay!
What birthday...I didn't get you anything on Ebay....hmmm
Oh yes you did.  Just look at your bank statement...buwahahaha...

Again thank you honey from the bottom of my heart....big smile.

I randomly find old wood plates and platters at the thrift store. I painted this one and decoupaged the center of it with Easter bunny scrapbook paper, then glued a little pink rick rack on it. I love it!

Thanks for coming by today, be sure to check out more of Pink Goodness over at our hostesses blog...Beverly!

Farmhouse Table Decked out with Roosters

A vintage inspired farm table.  I've been blessed by so many friends and family.
They know I have a bit of a VINTAGE rooster collection...
and hubby has the real chicken collection out in the barn!
so when they see something they
get it for me...or send it my way!
I already have the real ones...they send me the fun ones...that don't make any noise!

My daughter-in-love's parents found a rooster collection with all kinds of old eggs and ceramic roosters in an old shed. They mailed the whole collection to me from Texas. I practically swooned.
Below is a toy muffin pan that I put these old egg salt and pepper shakers in.
I also used vintage red and white enamelware for my centerpiece.
The napkins are vintage red and white check from grandma.

Also for my table topper and some of my cushions I used a vintage red and white tablecloth.
I can't seem to get enough tablecloths. I just love them. The older the better
and if they are red and white...I swoon...again. hahaha
Vintage scale, enamelware pan, green match holder..
A little chicken humor!

My girls outside near the barn...Rhode Island Reds...they lay beautiful brown eggs.
Joining in with this fun party...Vintage Inspiration!

So glad you could come by for a visit!
Come again.

Pink Thrift Store treasures and Tablescape

Don't you think Pink in blogland has led to bloggers buying and decorating with more pink?
I know it has me!  Hahaha....my kitchen is normally red and white. I live in a farmhouse...so red and white just seemed the way to go!
But I just can't resist little pink goodies at the store...pink dishes, planters, vases, napkins, placemats...the list goes on and on!
Napkins and placemats and napkin rings are all from my thrifting finds! Yipppeeee....even hubby will hold up pink things at the store...like honey I know you are going to look at this so here it is and well do you want it? He's funny...we are usually at the feed store when he asks that...

I'm glad you stopped by!
Have an incredible weekend!
