Hey everyone! Now that it is January...it seems
organizing and redoing things are in order.
I try to clean while putting things away, trying to remember what I did before Christmas....my memory is blank! So I keep cleaning hoping to remember how my house looked...where things went....why are there so many things without a home...hmmmm....One shelf I love to decorate is my kitchen shelf in the dining area of our farmhouse. I decorate it for the holidays and use dishes for a seasonal look. It is the first thing you see when you walk in our dining area.
At Christmas time I used Martha Stewart gold and cream papers for the background and then added sparkly ornaments and dishes for a glittery
Christmas look. Now I am using red and white checked scrapbook paper for the background to go with my red and white dishware.
This is how it looked this morning before it was done....hubby walked by and said "I'm not even going to ask what you are doing..." Hahaha...bless his heart.
Joining in today with Susan over @ Betweennapsontheporch!
Blessings,
Debbie

Those shelves look really cute. Love that you change out the background every time too! Makes such a difference.
Happy nesting to you!
How inviting! I love what you did with the paper background. I may just need to go to Joann's and get some paper. Or.... I saw a commercial for Hobby Lobby in Visalia, Ca. I will have to check it out; I have heard you talk about it often.

So sweet Debbie. I'd love to find a little shelf like this. Love the papers you chose. Isn't it nice that there are so many varieties of paper out there. I use them the same way.
Blessings,
Marcia
