Cutest Valentine Flash Cards/Decorating

Hey there everyone!  Look at these
sweet little Valentine Flash Cards.

I found them on Etsy!
The gal that makes these is soooo creative. Her Etsy shop is wonderful and her blog has the cutest ideas and freebies on there. I just was amazed when I found her creative goodness. Her Etsy is here @ http://www.etsy.com/shop/Hudsonsholidays
and her wonderful blog is here...http://hudsonsholidays.blogspot.com/
I bought the flash cards, they are sent to you via email and you then print out as many as you need.
Next I cut them and used a hole punch and tied a ribbon in the corner and used them every where! I just love them and they are so easy and fun to use! Very inexpensive decorating!
I'm joining today this wonderful party over at http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/

Later on this week Iwill show my tablescape for Valentine's day.

Thanks for coming by!
Blessings,
Debbie

Red and White-also spring lambs...

Awwwww....look at this little sweet thing! Our first  Spring lamb!  It came a little early...the familiar sound of a tiny little voice baaaahing out in the sheep pen surprised us!  They struggle to stand at first and then they
head for the milk barn (mama sheep!) Hahaha....they want milk!
Yes we do live on a small farm in S. California with sheep, pigeons, lots of chickens...lovingly referred to as the girls. Well the girls aren't laying right now....buying store bought eggs is new for me!
Here is a new to me twin bed that I put in my craft/storage/sewing room. My son had a fit that his room is gone!
Since my parents moved in with us our two boys rooms are gone! They understand but want to know where they are going to sleep!  The sewing room it is!
Be sure to check out more red and white here.....

One thing I have to show you...I'm making these cake plate dust ruffles (what else would/could it be called) for my Etsy shop. I've made several and I'm going to put them there in 2 days. I'm sewing like a mad woman. I wanted something to cover the cake plate while it isn't in use.
To show you how I did it...I had to tape several pieces of paper together to make the pattern (I made some to fit a dinner plate-small size, and some to fit a standard cake plate from Walmart). I then cut out fabric in the shape of the circle, and a 2" strip of fabric the diameter of the plate. Sewed the strip to the round piece, then added rick rack and pom pom fringe and it was done.
I set a dinner plate on an enamelware bowl turned upside down for my base and then covered it with the ruffle. I'm making some for Valentine's day, Easter, birthday parties, etc. Just a little something for decoration purposes. I actually love how it looks.

Well wonderful people that is it for me!

Debbie

Red and White Vintage Aprons

Hey everyone! Do you ever wonder why you like certain things?
I happen to love old, worn, aprons...a little red and white
and I absolutely swoon! Go figure....
I saw an apron grab bag and just happened
to buy it online...Etsy....ok I swooned
because I love an old apron.
Aprons speak to me...
something about loving your family
loving to cook for them
and perhaps I'm just a little messy while I cook.

spilling here and there....
I found these lovelies here....and yes you should
take a look when you get the chance.
I also finished a couple more vintage looking frames
for my Etsy shop.
Isn't this little girl cute?

Hope your days and evenings are blessed!

Decorating with Red

RED!
Hey everyone!  This is my first time to join in with Rednesday @ http://suelovescherries.blogspot.com/. I have loved this party....
Who doesn't love red?   I have little vintage toy ovens in my kitchen that I love to decorate with. Mine was stolen at Christmas when I was little. Now...just for fun...I have gotten a few and placed them around my kitchen....they make my heart happy!
Above was one of our beds at Christmas with a few quilts...ok a lot...on the bed.
My dish shelf once again decorated for Valentines day.

Yes I bake M & M's in my spare time! wink wink...

Be sure to stop by over @ http://suelovescherries.blogspot.com/ to see more red decorating! Thanks so much for coming by for the visit!

Debbie

Red and White Enamelware and more

Well hello everyone!  I'm so relieved...my dad just had surgery and is doing very well.
My mom and I have been the nurses...she is a real one...I just
pretend...until there is blood.
That is where I usually pass out! hahaha...and I'm not kidding!
I've redone a few things in my kitchen using things I already have.  I use a great deal of red and white enamelware in my everyday food preparation and cooking. I just love it.

Awwwww so sweet....a little sweetness in the kitchen as well.
Blessings,
Debbie
