Decoupage Jar~candle holder

Hey everyone! I love fall/Halloween

crafts and decoupage is as easy as it

comes. I found several free Halloween

images on google~saved them~printed them

off (onto cardstock). I also used scrapbook paper that

I found from Joann's store.

Use a glass jar~brush Mod Podge on the area that

your paper~label~or vintage image will go. Press it on

trying to remove bubbles.

I did find that 1/2 glue and 1/2 water mixed together works

DECOUPAGING FLUID! Next I added the glue on the

rest of the jar and sprinkled black Martha Stewart

glitter on.

Add a bow and you are done. I set a small glass votive

holder in the top of my jar and put a candle in it and used

it for a candle holder!

For this
candy corn and
the very first jar
picture~glue one
stripe at a time~
add glitter~
let dry~
add the next stripe of
decoupage glue~
add glitter...let dry...
and so forth!

Yipee! Don't you love HALLOWEEN CRAFTS? I do!

You are just so creative Debbie. You turned ordinary canning jars into expensive looking candle holders. I love Halloween decorations mainly because that is when my birthday is. Thanks for sharing your ideas with us.
