FARMHOUSE WHITES

Kathleen @ Faded Charm
is the wonderful hostess for this White Party!

I think God must have made me that way too. He gifted me with a musical gift...writing music...playing the piano at church and I love it. I also love to decorate, sew....plant flowers...getting my hands filthy dirty with mud! But when people come over to visit they are surprised to see me muddy and dirty...a little sweaty...compared to what I look like at church.

Lots of hard work....
weed pulling(getting rid of bad attitudes)
watering (replenishing my soul with good things)
and then waiting(for God to answer my prayers)
And ....slowly I see little flowers come forth
The harvest...finally shows up
And it is beautiful...

... the things I bring into my home are for the most part...mismatched...some old...some new...

Big smile.

Blessings,
Debbie

Mine is a mismatched house too. I love the way you put your mismatched things together though. You're a talented decorator yourself.
Blessings,
Marcia

Hi Debbie,
I have really enjoyed reading your lovely post today and looking at your beautiful treasures.
I really like mismatched. I've never been a matchy matchy type girl. I'm with you and I think we should live with the things we love.

I'm a mismatched girl as well Debbie...I think it makes for an interesting home. Love your whites and thanks for sharing.
Great post! You are a fab decorator in my book!
I really enjoyed your post today. I like mismatched as well. I like for things to look like they have been collected over time.
I have been doing some weed pulling myself and I found where Chuck Swindol addressed this. I posted it this past Sunday on my blog.
Somehow it just spoke to me? Ever have that happen?
Have a blessed day,Annette
Vintagy white on white decor is so peaceful. When I see some of your white pictures, I feel relaxed. You have such talent and energy for finding good matches among the mismatched.
I used to like matchy matchy , but not anymore. Everything mismatched , but yet somehow it all fits together. Have a beautiful day!!
Blessings~
I love mismatched. It makes a house look more like a home cared for over time. Loved your post today. ~~Sherry~~
Lovely whites- I especially like the plates you found with the kitchen implements on them. What a lucky find.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Love all your whites! It's good to have things a little mismatched... like you've collected your treasures over time. The flowers from your garden are beautiful!
