The real crows dive bomb our chicken eggs in nest boxes outside of the chicken pen and try to eat all the chicken eggs for breakfast. They love fresh eggs! Wouldn't you?
Here is a look at the actual pattern.
One last bit of info...one of my favorite cross stitch designers is Sandra Sullivan...she has a new blog and just posted a freebie for Fall/Halloween. I can't wait to stitch it. You should head over to her blog...say hi...and scoop up her little goodie. It is adorable.
Hello everyone...it is hot here...113 yesterday! You will find me near the cooler with ice tea! One of my favorite colors is red...and I like yellow too.
Recently I went on Ebay (you know you are headed for trouble when you tell yourself..."I will just look!" Buwahahaha But I found something I just love! Quilt blocks!
Red and yellow...already appliqued! Wow...the hard part has been done. All I have to do is sew these babies together...How stinkin' easy is this? I'm lovin' it. They weren't very much...I honestly don't remember how much now but I think it made my mouth drop open they were so little....YIpeee!
"Oil up the sewing machine....she'll be hummin' soon..."
I love the sound of a sewing machine moving along at full speed!
Yes I started with a fake plant as my centerpiece! Aaaaaaggghhh I know this is a no no but I was at a loss to put something else there....I wrapped the basket with a black checked bow. I also used black checked ribbons to tie the napkins and candles with. White and black plates, and a black toile tablecloth that I made...edged in tiny black checks.
And I pulled out my sweet little garden bunnies. I just love bunnies.
They are all over our property outside and boy
do they love my flowers!
I have several milk bottles that my hubby got for me. These matched the black and white theme.
I used this little red wagon to hold condiment jars, sometimes it holds teabags or little packets of sweetener. The vintage salt and pepper shakers were passed down to my hubby.
Here is my buffet below the plate shelf, it stores many plates, and several glass luncheon plates.
