Cottage Garden Decor

This bathroom has been a long time coming....when we moved my parents in and
added on to our house on the ground floor for them...we were able to build a bathroom
on the second floor where we now would be.
I mostly used things that I had to decorate with....old garden items....a newly painted old piece of picket fence....
a leftover hoe that was missing a handle....
The cabinet was an old cabinet that held a playstation when the boys were young...the shelf...borrowed from my mom and newly painted...
But I did get new towels with little ruffles on them from Target's Shabby Chic line. I love them...don't use them...but I love them.

The little green bird was sent to me from my wonderful friend in Kansas city...every time I visit her I want to redo my house! Her house is beautiful from top to bottom! Thank you Gina!
The large white piece was from a thrift store and a steal...yipeee....painted it white....ocean green inside and added new knobs.

I have lots of old plates....so they now adorn the walls...

Playing along with these great blog parties! Please visit for inspiration....you will love what you see. And the hostesses are absolutely wonderful!

You did a beautiful job on the bathroom, Debbie. I love the shade of blue paint...very tranquil but still cheery {if that is possible!}

Love the cabinet and shelf and all of your pretty accessories, including the hoe!!

Hi Debbie,
I found this on White Wednesday...what a fabulous blog!
I have an art blog, but I also have an inspirational blog called I Owe it All to Him...there is a link Party Fri-Sun...(I left a big window of time). Anyway, all I'm asking is for people to post a favorite Bible verse on their blog and link it up...I'd love for you to join us...

The people are great about visiting the various blogs and leaving comments...neat group of faith-filled people.
Hugs,
Cindy

So lovely, it's like a gorgeous white oasis.

And of course you don't use those yummy towels! ;-)

The blue on your wall is so cheerful. It makes all the white so lovely. I can't believe that you found something affordable at a thrift shop. That is an awesome piece. I am finding that the thrift shops are more expensive than the antique stores. So be thankful for your thrift stores girlie!
