White~Turquoise Shabby Table

Hello everyone! Yesterday I showed my collection of white pitchers and yes some of them were ugly and screamed to be spray painted white! Most of them were found thrifting! Woohoo!

Next I found some thrifty turquoise glasses and a pitcher~ok and the candlesticks....

This little turquoise bowl is perfect for floating some white roses....I love how simple and beautiful this looks. Uhhhh tilt your head so you can see this picture...smile!

This used to be a prim painted candle box...now lightened up a bit for summer....love that spray paint!

This setting was missing something...like a chocolate cupcake! hahaha

Beautiful...and yes, a chocolate cupcake would be the ultimate touch! I can't believe how popular blue is getting again...must be because I got rid of most of mine!!

It looks great with the blues. My daughter just painted her kitchen cabinets turquoise and I thought she was nuts but it is wonderful!

Chocolate is ALWAYS in order, no matter what! :) Your table is just beautiful. I love the cool color scheme you used. It reminds me of the beach, which I'm desperately longing for. Thanks for sharing and happy TT to you!

I just love all the different table settings you can come up with. This is so pretty. Of course turquoise is my color of choice so often around here because of my turquoise couches. This is the time of year when they're actually in style ;-)

I have just discovered the Tablescape Thursday meme, and although I'm not taking part this week, I'm enjoying visiting the blogs of those who are. I love your white hutch. And the pink plate right in the center SO caught my eye. It's beautiful.

The turquoise and white table setting is very pretty. Reminds me of the ocean, so what a great table setting for these days of summer.

Finally, just had to say, your Deuteronomy quote is a passage that spoke to my heart a few years ago...but for the opposite reason as you. You see, due to some books I had read, I was pretty much convinced that "good Christian homeschooling families" live in the country...or at least on a bunch of acreage. My husband was never willing to live in the country. Then I "happened" upon that passage, and I realized that God said we would be blessed in the country AND the cities. I realized that God is in the city too. So, I was able to surrender to urban/suburban life...and as I have surrendered, I have thrived in the city.

Have a lovely day,

What a cool and calming tablescape. I could linger there forever. In fact I noticed you are from Southern California and I'm from CA also. Your covered chairs give a relaxing feel also. Love it all. Thanks for sharing.

I love this table scape! So cool and comfortable. I don't have much in the way of turquoise but it's such a versatile color that I am going to be on the look out for more.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting on my decor for my sisters home. She has wanted something that felt like home and more in keeping with her sensibilities. She even said she would have not known how to put this together on her own. Can I tell you how thrilled I was to do this for her?

PS: Chocolate is always welcome at my table!
