Have you seen the latest phase of farmhouse decor?
Old rakes and shovels used as garden decorating!
I'm so proud of my lone purple iris. It struggled to bloom on its own....
Playing along with our wonderful Hostess Kathleen@
On her blog she will take a piece of 'junk' and make it
beautiful...I've never seen anything like it.
In fact I may offer her a trip to California just so she could turn my findings
into something beautiful!
How about it Kathleen?
I have chicken feeders, old shovels, old galvanized buckets...
a few live roosters....(big smile)there is lots to work with! Hahahaha
Blessings,
Debbie
DID I MENTION I LIVE IN REDNECKVILLE, CALIFORNIA...Yes it is S. California, but oh so redneck...you should see the cars! And what people wear! My daughter
has a fit! No makeup! Hahahha....hair that goes everywhere....like they just walked
through a tornado~pajamas and slippers at Dairy Queen! What's with
pj's at the local drive~through?
And ladies~ why aren't we using razors?
Ok I'm on a rant~sorry blogdom....
but country livin' does not mean lack of bathing skills (bigger smile)
or hairy~razor forgotten bodies~and that's just the women!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Oh, Debbie. You are so funny... I nearly peed my pants!! I hear you on the razors. Either people don't shave or they shave too much! ;-D
Love your old garden tools. I have a few of those. Yes, suddenly Green Acres is IN!! It all started with that burlap craze!
I received the pillow I won from you and I am in love. Cute, cute, cute. I can't believe I have something you made with your own 2 hands!! My daughter is trying to steal it for her own bed, but no...it's mine!! Thank you so much again!!

It is all just too beautiful, I think you are doing a great job of planting up and decorating all by yourself!

I always smile when I read your blog! :^)
From what I've seen, you don't need help with making your stuff look good.

Those beautiful flowers are just the perfect match for the pitchers!!!
Hi Debbie,
I love California poppies, too. They 're not as abundant around here as they once were, but always such a pleasure to see when they do appear.

Oh Debbie, I just love your farmhouse style. Everything just looks so lovely.
I know what you mean about the bathing skills HAHAHA.
I love all of your whites, inside and out! My favorites are that pink platter in amongst your pitchers, and that blue watering can by your picket fence. Perfect cottagey pictures!
Happy White Wednesday!

Hi Debbie,
Ribbonwood Cottage garden is looking so wonderful. I love the use of the old garden utensils.
Maybe you should give out free razors and the local rednecks will get the hint....I doubt it. You are funny though!
