Hey dear blogger friends! I found some old linens and picked them up recently at a quilt show.
I decided I wanted to embellish them a bit with pink fabric that had tiny little rosebuds on it.
First I cut out 'WONDER UNDER', I got mine from Joanns...it is a sturdy iron on interfacing.
I ironed it to the 'WRONG' side of my fabric then cut it out. Next I zig zagged it to the center of the bottom of the linen towel.
But it still needed something...so I added a little feminine ruffle to the bottom of the towel.
The towel underneath had old lace added to it. I love little touches like this.
So sweet and feminine and very easy to do!
Blessings,
Debbie

Isn't it amazing what a little lace and applique can do for a plain linen towel. You sure made yours beautiful.

I love your pretty heart towel, especially the cute ruffle.
This is so lovely! And the little rose-bud print reminds me of the little baby clothes that had them! It was a certain label of baby clothes and my Older than Dirt mind won't remember it just now-ha! Kerrie
It turned out lovely!

Thanks so much for the tutorial of how to do this. I have that wonder under and I've never used it. You make it look so easy. I'm going to have to get mine out and try.
Blessings,
Marcia
Adorable! I love the fabric you chose and I am so over being afraid to use my vintage towels and things. I just pulled some vintage dishtowels out of my stash and told everyone not to use them with anything that stained, like cast iron! If you can't use pretty things why have them!?
exactly what I want to do with a few I've found recently. TFS!
