Hey everyone! We had a good week here...mostly stayed with my parents and made sure they were ok with my mom just being out of the hospital. I had more time to stitch than I thought I would because they wanted hubby and I to sit with them and watch tv(they adore Bill Gaither videos with Southern Gospel music)...or just be together. So I had a ziploc bag in my purse(it is huge) filled with wool felt, thread, stitchery fabric and loads of embroidery floss....
Last week I showed several pictures of felt food and chocolates from etsy and flickr....those pictures inspired me to make the little pillow above.
And of course today is Pink Saturday with our wonderful hostess Beverly @howsweetthesound.typepad.com/

Below I made up some chocolates, marshmallows, and hot chocolate mix so that we can have hot chocolate at night...one of my favorite things to do! Marshmallows are from Walmart....I later found out they are strawberry flavored...which DID NOT TASTE GOOD in my hot chocolate!

lovely post! Great pillow out of your inspiration. It makes me realize we could all use some of our cross stitch fabric to stitch felt lovies onto.
Your pillow turned out beautifully! Love the browns with the pinks! Perfect for your hot chocolate with strawberry marshmallows! I can imagine that might not taste how you expected! They do look pretty in the jar though and perfect for V's day!
