White, Shabby, a tiny bit of Valentine Red...

Hey everyone! What a day we have had....a great deal of torrential rain and of course mudslides! Thank goodness we are up on a hill that is mostly rock and not near the beach where at least 1 or 2 homes slide around during these kind of rain storms! But doing farm chores in the rain and mud is not my idea of fun....so hubby was on his own today! (quiet giggle)
Today is a little white...a little vintage...a little Valentine goodness! I started collecting white enamelware when I fell in love with it during a blogging visit to Leslie...my country gal friend!
I adore red and white...and it is a little vintage so it fits me good!

But I have to stop and BRAG a minute about my hubby and what HE made me for breakfast!
We are avid FOOD NETWORK junkies. Yesterday we watched several shows and he got motivated (which could be dangerous for my thighs!) and made these little babies for breakfast. I woke up and smelled something delicious!

They tasted as good as they look. They are cinnamon sticky bun rolls-Barefoot Contessa's recipe. He used store bought biscuits though and flattened them and then added cinnamon, butter, pecans, brown sugar, rolled them up and put each one in a muffin tin....oh my goodness! I felt set free for several moments. I couldn't believe this man had cooked such scrumptious goodness! Yes he is a farmer...but the man was taught to cook by his mama and grandma! God bless 'em both! Big smile.

Every house should have an apothecary jar with chocolate in it! Oh yes sirreee!

Hey thanks for coming by this lovely day! I am playing along with Faded Charm...be sure you see her wonderful blog and other gals playing along with White Wednesday! Hope you have an amazing week!
Blessings,
Debbie

Oh Debbie that enamelware is very old fashioned and I love it in RED! I have one apothecary jar with old fashioned caramels in it, but need a few more to fill just like you did with pink and white goodness.

I love your Valentine blocks, I have a few that I was thinking of doing the same things with - great minds think alike, Now for the time to make them:)
