http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/ is hosting this Pink Gala event!
Organize, organize, organize...
I adore things that are lovely to look at and give you an incentive (to try) to be organized
Below is a site of free printables with pink on the printables....fun little tablets, to do list, candy bar wrappers, labels....etc. http://www.bellesprintables.com/free-printables-1.html
I have a pantry...that actually has canned items in it....no glass jars though...we live in earthquake country, right on a fault line....

Wish my pantry looked like this but my canned goods all have labels that scream with colors on them...nothing peaceful looking in my pantry!

Free Printables!
Below are some more wonderful sites with free printables. If you feel like making a list of things you need to accomplish at the beginning of the year will help then here are some resources that will encourage you to get started. I just love this. At times I am more into list making...like at the first of the year when I want to put all the holiday things away and give my house a good cleaning. I told my hubby when Christmas is over I feel this OVERWHELMING NEED to get organized and clean! I LOVE TO MAKE LISTS FOR HIM TOO! BUWAHAHAHA....HE acts like he does not see them....so I tape them on his side of the bed, his mirror, the tv...whatever works. I've even left messages on the sheep. He definitely sees those! big smile. Out come the tubs for putting away winter things, I buy trash bags in bulk to get rid of unnecessary things....and closets get cleaned! HIS CLOSET IS FIRST! BIG SMILE. I KNOW SOME FARM CHORE CLOTHES THAT HAVE GOT TO GO!
The first SITE is great for organizing your routines, cleaning ideas, forms for writing lists, or budgets, calendars....
Here is a great site for free monthly calendar printables.
I saved them to my computer files and then also printed them off for one of my yearly calendars. I use one for the kids, one for activities and doctor appt., bills, birthdays. One big one is nice but I find that I use them in different places of my house, just like clocks....so I need several.

Make a household planner with all your important info in it to keep organized. I have done this on a few levels and it really helped when my kids were in high school and had weekly events, soccer games, band practices at 7 am on several days!
Here is a great site with free printables for moms with busy schedules. There are chore charts, grocery lists, winter car check list...the list goes on and on.
My favorite for the first of the year is this one!
Here is an entire plan of attack for first of the year cleaning....why wait till spring?
Absolutely adorable kids chore charts and to do lists (so cute) here:

YOU are an Organizing Queen! I LOVE the wealth of sources you shared with us on organizing.....I will come back and visit them. I love that kind of stuff, too!
Your Christmas brunch looked awesome...and I have to say how very touched I was to read about the addition you are making to your home for your parents. You are so right. . about honoring one's parents.
I hope you have a wonderful Pink Saturday a happy and ORGANIZED Mew Year! Dana
I'm definitely going to have to check out some of those organizing tools. Sadly, I have NEVER been a very organized person. I must say through blogging and seeing things others have done or shared, in the past year and a half I have become more organized and love it! We have a small home so you almost have to be somewhat orgnized or it feels chaotic. We took down our tree and all the decorations yesterday, cleaned and organized our living room and kitchen and it feels so peaceful. LOVE it. Hubby was saying "too bad things won't stay this tidy". I can only try!♥ Hope you are having a great Saturday Debbie.
Oy! I am not THIS organized, for sure!
May 2010 bring you great happiness & joys!

Hi Debbie...Happy Pink Saturday...Today is my first visit to your very busy, full of great info, and energetic blog! I'll be back for a longer visit and to take advantage of the much appreciated Sites you listed. Enjoyed browsing and reading today. I'm pretty organized, but always looking for better ways to organize lots of stuff so I can make room for more vintage stuff. It's a vicious collectin circle, and I'm glad I get to do it. Hope you'll visit me at CollectinTexas Gal....we have lots of things in common...especially quilts. Happy Pink Saturday and New Year, too...Sue
Great tips and resources, Debbie. You would laugh at me because I am so organized. I hate it when people in my family don't puts things back where they belong.
Happy Pink Saturday and Happy New Year.
Happy New Year from our house to your house. Thank you for all the free printables. I will be busy organizing this and organizing that all year now. Gulp!

Happy Pink Saturday Debbie Sweetie...
Oh how wonderful of you to share these sites. I didn't even know they existed. I am going to be checking out several. I too want to get organized this year, and I am going to start an area just for me, with my crafts and I so want to make some labels. This will be fun. I can't wait. I will keep you posted.
Love all the pink rooms, especially the last share. That was my favorite. I can't wait to see what happens to DH with all the labels you have made for him.
Many hugs and much love, Sherry
I love the pink closet!
