Good morning~
Here is our barn, chicken pen, hay for the sheep...our driveway is to the left...
I want them to enjoy this part of their life. They have been so faithful in so many areas. My dad is a minister who has memorized thousands of scriptures! He has a photographic memory and spent his early years memorizing 5-10 scriptures each morning. It bothers him that he is having trouble remembering them now. He said he felt sad that he can't remember where to find things in the Bible.... So I have decided ....
I will help him remember....
My dad has been a great person to be a minister...loves everyone...knows thousands of jokes and funny stories...and he lives in a way that honors God (and his wife.)
I want to help my mom enjoy her life, lighten her load....
help them both remember their kids love them....
help them remember that God's gift to us all is this life...
every day is a gift....

what a GORGEOUS view of the hills...what a great thing, for your parents to move in with you!!!
Oh Debbie, what a wonderful post. I loved reading about how you want to help your dad remember scripture. Your parents are blessed with a wonderful daughter. My oldest son is studying to be a minister.
You are definitely closer to the mountains than we are. What a view! We had a light dusting of snow again yesterday, but today was clear and sunny (and very cold).
Have a glorious Sunday!
Blessings,
Marcia
Oh Debbie, that view is absolutely breathtaking. What a beautiful area you live in....
I love what you and your husband are doing for your parents and you are so blessed to be able to do that.

Oh, Debbie.. PLEASE don't talk to ME about cameras right now! (0; But if I could get my new camera to work properly, YES, I WOULD be carrying it in my purse too! Your pictures are beautiful today, and I thought what you said about your parents was even MORE beautiful! God bless, and hope you're enjoying the rest of your weekend! ~tina
It's wonderful that you are committing to help him remember. What a great example of honoring your parents. May they be blessed with you all in the country.

Debbie...it is so wonderful that you are able to add to your home and bring your parents there. My hubby was a minister for 20 years...so I can relate a bit to your daddy. Everything there looks beautiful...but brrr!!
Debbie, you are such a sweet and precious daughter. That is just such a wonderful thing to do for your parents. I hope I will be able to do that for my mom, my dad has already passed on (at 42).
Your pics are just gorgeous. What a beautiful view you have. How are your animals enjoying the snow :)
Have a blessed weekend!
It's beautiful to look at, that's for sure but I'm happier when the roads are clear. ;)
Have a great week Debbie!

Debbie, What a wonderful thing you and your hubby are doing for your parents and doing so not because you have to, but because you want to share and be with them. How luck they are to have you for their daughter. This country would be better if we all extended ourselves more to family and friends.
