Miniatures & Kitchen Gingerbread tree

Yipeeee! This definitely has been a wonderful time in blogland. I don't know about you but I just love all the Christmas house tours, the new Christmas projects, the recipes.....

It will take me gazillion years to try all the recipes, crafts and new ideas. But I'm lovin' it! I'm tempted to decorate my tree differently after seeing so many beautiful trees....but alas....I must re-use what I have....but in my mind my tree is decorated like the gorgeous one at Macy's! Hahahaha....

Ok down to business! I am hooked on kitchen and Christmas miniatures....I just love little miniature toys and I bought this little cutie on Ebay a couple of years ago. I had a kitchen set as a child that got stolen and my sweet friend said just go on Ebay and see if there is something similar and buy it! So I did! I'm so happy....I love to play house.

Below is my gingerbread and kitchen tree with miniature kitchen items on it. I set it on my hoosier in the kitchen.

Little vintage Santa, reindeer and a little boy dressed for Christmas...nestled inside a miniature bread pan.

I made the gingerbread cookie pan...just painted wood gingerbread men and glued them to an old cookie sheet.

Mini cookie cutters, and below some more little gingerbread men....

I love the little apron and rolling pin. Most of these little goodies I found at Target a couple years ago. But below is one of my favorites...the little mini muffin tin.

And yes I love baking....fake goodies....just for fun...hubby now sniffs things before he takes a bite. I guess he learned the hard way.....(giggle, giggle)

Well that is it for now! Be sure to check out the blog parties here at these wonderful places...there is much more fun to be had!
Blessings,
Debbie

I just love these kitchen trees. I would love to start one some day. I wish you could see the little pan I have from my childhood that is Rudolph the Reindeer....I will have to post that so you can see it....It would be perfect by your tree!

Debbie, I love love love your mimiture kitchen set. I did not have one as a child but a friend of mine did and it was one of the first things I always wanted to play with when I got to her house! Your house looks so festive and I love the faux cinnimon goodies. I am going to have to look up a tutorial and attempt to make some of those. You always have the kindess things to say of my home. How sweet. I just enjoy being at home and I love to decorate. You and yours have a happy and safe holiday, and may God richly bless you this season.

In my mind, I could smell that gingerbread, and now I need to consult the cookbooks for a recipe. This is a craving worth giving into. Everything is so lovely in your home.

Hi Debbie,
You must have so much fun with all those decorations! Very Festive and homey! I think I may use your gingerbread-men from wood idea with my grand-kids! Have a wonderful CHRISTmas Season and may His light shine on you throughout the New Year.

I love everything, especially the fun kitchen items/baking stuff as decorations! I LOVE THAT! I miss my no-stoplight town in Ky!!!!! I bet you have an amazingly beautiful life. I do love Huntsville, too, but there's something so peaceful about no stoplights. We weren't big enough to have an actual Dairy Queen, though, it was/is just the Dairy Dip
HA! :)
MANY blessings to you, L
