Christmas Tour Farmhouse Style!

Welcome to my Farmhouse this Christmas! Glad you could stop by and visit me in the country!
The joke is that our town is so small there is NO stop light, no mayor, and the only government office is over the Dairy Queen! Hahahaha....and I'm not kidding!
My favorite colors to decorate with are red, gold and sage green...so it makes decorating for the Holidays simple. The quilt below I made some time ago...it was from a Thimbleberries quilt book.

A simple candle ring around a small hand towel.
I collect Christmas frames, take pictures of the kids and then set them out every year...watching them grow up and the special ones when they sat on Santa's lap. The quilt in the corner was hand made by my grandmother and the embroidered pillow made by my sweet mama.
The red quilt above is from Walmart! hahaha....I love red and white quilts.
Below is another quilt I made from an old Thimbleberries pattern.
Burlap curtains in cream! And the coffee square table is also covered in a burlap slipcover that I made.

Here in my kitchen I have several vintage items on display!

A little decoupage on the rolling pin....

I loved visiting with you...come by again!
Blessings,
Debbie

Oh Debbie, I loved it, especially your dining table all decked out in it's red finery. No matter what new color schemes they come out with every year you can't beat good old winter holly colors of green and red. xo Lynn

ahhh . . . your home feels so peaceful! Thanks for the invite in. That Anne of Green Gables music made me smile! My favorite things were your white shelf with all the pitchers and creamers and the reindeer leaning against the glass dish (I have one like that!) with the ornaments sitting atop the red striped linens! lovely!
