Joining in again for this fun Pink Saturday! Be sure to see Beverly's blog for more Pink goodness @ http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/
First Paint the edges of your box and then let dry.
Next lay your box down on the paper to measure where you need to cut....

Cut your paper the width and length of your box. The 12 x 12 paper actually was a tiny bit shorter than the length of my box...but I ended up covering the area with a tiny piece of paper.
Next apply your MOD PODGE and smooth out any bubbles. Let dry.
Next I used a small paint brush and brushed on Mod Podge ( could use glue for this step) and then attached Martha Stewart Glitter.
I then decoupaged the lid.

The last step...I added regular glue to the top of the lid and added Spanish Moss. I needed a base to set my reindeer ornament on.

After I added the Spanish Moss, I dribbled glue on top of it and sprinkled it generously with Martha Stewart Glitter and some of her Mica flake- snow like glitter for added sparkle!

Monday I will show how I made several ornaments with glitter and beautiful napkin rings so be sure to drop in for a visit! One last thing, I ended up lightly painting the spanish moss with a touch of white paint...it looked a little drab....
I wish you could see the glitter on the spanish moss, it looks adorable...

Have you tried Decoupaging yet? Glitter? I'm in heaven just using Mod Podge and glitter!
You will need:
Papier Mache box-I used round
Martha Stewart Glitter
Mod Podge
Scrapbook paper
Paint

I haven't but I've seen some project and they really transform an ordinary "something" into something pretty - just like what you did with the boxes. And you added some touch with the decor on the top. Very lovely gifts for friends.
