Black and Pink-Christmas Joy!

Hey everyone! First of all thank all of you for your prayers for my family, I appreciate all your kind words yesterday, it meant a great deal to me. My father in law and sister in law are still in the hospital but seem to be doing a little better. Again thank you...
Today I'm joining with Beverly @

Have you seen all the pink ideas...hundreds of them!

I've been working on bits and pieces here and there so that when Thanksgiving is over I will have a few little surprises to set out!

Last week I worked on some decoupage.
A "JOY" sign for my daughter's room. I'm pretty traditional when it comes to Christmas colors...but she gets pink and black!

I used some papier mache stars, and a wood plaque and decoupaged paper onto them.

Next I used some chipboard letters...I painted them black since they were the wrong color for the project.
After decoupaging I added glitter to the edges of everything~ Have you tried Martha Stewart glitter yet? Walmart carries it ....you've got to try it!

If you haven't visited yet please stop by Amy's blog @ http://modpodgerocks.blogspot.com/ Her entire blog is about Mod Podge goodness with ideas and projects galore!
Blessings,
Debbie

Happy Pink Saturday Debbie...
These letters turned out beautifully and I just love the signs. The pink and black together is so pretty and elegant. I have to tell you, I just bought the most precious tree at Wal-Mart. It is a small 3 ft. Christmas tree that is black, with pinkish red lights. It would be so precious in your daughters room to carry out her pink and black theme.

I have added lots of red to mine, and I am still layering it. I painted my dining room wall red, and I wanted this precious tree to sit close to that wall in the corner. I had an old square toille tablecloth that I wrapped around the bottom, and it is taking shape.

Your daughter needs one of these little ones though for her room. It would be so precious. You could make her pink ornaments to match the pink letters and stars that you made for her door.

I am so sorry to hear about your father-in-law and sister-in-law. I will be holding them up in prayer. Thank you for sharing with us.

Please stop by and say hi. I would so love to share my pink post with you. Country hugs...Sherry

I love that you're doing those fab colors for your daughter! We're doing turquoise and lime green Christmas for my 15-year old daughter this year. I'm obsessed with MS glitter too, Debbie! *And thanks for your sweet comment.*

Love your holiday cheer! Love putting on your music selection and crafting away. Sure does take the stress away.

I am doing lots of MP stuff for holidays. Trying to keep it simple, chic and cheap.
Many prayers for you & your family.
