Welcome to Ribbonwood Cottage Farmhouse! I'm joining in with Susan our hostess for Outdoor Wednesday @http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/
We actually live on a farm with sheep, chickens, pigeons, dogs, cats...etc. The sheep got out today but I didn't get pictures because I was too busy helping my husband CHASE THEM!
Ribbonwood trees are on our property...hence the name. The trees are similar to Manzanita trees and the bark strips off, somewhat falls off in ribbon strips. I will take pictures soon and show you.

Here is a side view of our front porch...I'm not showing the grass...or the lack thereof...

Blessings,
Debbie

Debbie, I also live out in the country, but in Texas on 40 acres and we raise goats. We also have 6ddgs, 5 cats, 10 ducks and 2 wild turkeys that came to live with us this past summer and now they never leave the yard which is 3 acres. Your pictures of the flowers are beautiful. Hope you will come and visit me.

Oh Debbie your flowers are divine! The Last Rose of summer? Not for California. I don't know where you live in California but, it sounds heavenly. My Hubby & I were our in the central coast area & one day we put the top down on the convertible & drove up a canyon road outside of Cambria... the beautiful farms & acres of trees (fruit, avacado...) vineyards & the farms with barns & animals. Truly magnificent. You are truly blessed. I am off to read some more of your blog. I LOVE IT!
Debbie, just joined your site! How wonderfully colorful and cheering!Kerrie
Morning Debbie,
All your blooms are just gorgeous!! Everything is doing so well. I bet it is very peaceful on your three acres with all your critters. I would enjoy that soooo much!
Are you in the area that is getting so much rain? Hopefully, you aren't where they think there are going to be terrible mudslides. That would be very scary!
My post is about roses blooming now too. Go figure! It's October.
Your roses are beautiful - thanks for sharing.
I always love the last flush of flowers that roses produce in the fall. Your photos are beautiful. I hope you are having a wonderful day.
Beautiful post, Debbie! I'm looking forward to seeing the Ribbonwood bark!
Hello Debbie,
