Mr. Punkin' head-SO STINKIN' CUTE!

Wow! these pictures are even brighter on the blog than in real life I think! hahaha....Someone in our house loves pink! I think we all know it is the girly girl who is presently away at college. She called and said she loves dorm life...reminds her of being in a hotel...HA!
Anyhoo, welcome to Pink Saturday where our wonderful hostess is Beverly, famed for her Pink Saturday party @ http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/ Also I am showing a Pumpkin project. But first, I made a crown canvas sign for Whitney Rose's room...decoupaged a crown onto canvas...then added a scripture reminding her of God's wonderful love for her.

Crown-vintage images.
I'm not done!
FIRST OF ALL I CANNOT TAKE CREDIT FOR THIS next CUTENESS....I MADE IT BUT THIS AMAZING GAL...LINDA ALBRECHT POSTED THE TUTORIAL ON HER BLOG HEREhttp://lindaalbrecht.typepad.com/simple_things/2009/09/little-pumpkin-head.html BUT! BE SURE TO SCROLL TO THE TOP OF HER BLOG, CLICK ON BLOG TITLE WHICH WILL ALLOW YOU TO SEE ALL HER POSTS.

She showed how to take a container, decoupage it with cute Halloween or fall paper. Paint a little inexpensive pumpkin, add the face, even used a little fine point Sharpe.

She explained how to make the collar, the hat, add buttons, trim, cute sparkly pipe cleaners...and GLITTER!

I love tutorials, don't you? Head over to Linda's blog so you can make one too. It was soooooo fun, you have to try it!
So glad you came by!
Blessings,
Debbie

Hi Debbie, what a wonderful canvas work of art you made for your daughter's room. You're such a good mom, and wonderful scripture verse! She'll see that everyday and know you are praying for her. Your hanging basket is so cute, and you did an awesome job, great idea.
I just started an online Bible study. There is a link on my blog, stop by if you can. Have a great weekend!

Too darn cute. How weird is it that I found the crown image on her site to download today too? I was looking for one for a project!

Great minds think alike.

Oh my the clock just struck 11pm, I've gotta run. This pumpkin will look like a shriveled prune in the am with her 8hrs;)
