Fake (faux) Halloween Cupcakes and Holder

Happy Fall....I love and I'm totally hooked on the fall colors and fall crafts, decorating for fall. I enjoy the whole process. Be sure to visit Julia @ http://hookedonhouses.net/ for more Hooked On Party fun! On a cute craft blog I saw the idea for making fake (faux) cupcakes for fall. You could use this adorable idea for any season really! Basically you take a styrofoam ball and cover 2/3 of it with Snow-Tex...fake snow that you put on like icing with a butter knife or spatula.
Before it dries you sprinkle a little glitter on top....add a button or little wooden ball that looks like a cherry. Set the fake cupcake in a paper cupcake holder and set it on something. I made this cupcake stand which I will post on Monday....craft day with Roeshel @ DIY!
You will enjoy making this cupcake/candle- stand/holder. It is soooo easy and fun!

I love how they look! I love a craft that uses spray paint, glue and paper!

Thanks for coming by! I'm certainly hooked on fall crafts until after Thanksgiving...then I will show you a multitude of Christmas crafts that I am working on. So much fun. I may need to open up an Etsy shop and start selling things, because my house is filling up and I need to get rid of some things.
I hope your week/weekend is wonderful. I am with my three college kids and I am so happy. Hugging and kissing them all weekend is on my agenda....and cooking and baking. Also we get to watch our daughter play college soccer. It is awesome. We have taken her to soccer practice since she was 7, gone to multitudes of games, and now we are so blessed because she was recruited to play for college. But the best thing is when you hug your grown child and they whisper in your ear that they love you and miss you. Oh my, my, my....I am in heaven!
