"CANDY CORN IS MY FAVORITE VEGETABLE!" DEBBIE BOOTH

One or two last projects before the weekend. Bear with me if you have seen this in some form or fashion before. Above was an unfinished wood triangle piece, I added Mod Podge one strip at a time from top to bottom. Add the strip of glue, add glitter, let dry. Took about 10 minutes to do the whole thing because of drying time.

Needed
Mod Podge
Glass Jar
Halloween Paper
Glitter

Put Mod Podge on jar...add large strip of Halloween Paper. Decoupage over the paper too.

Add a Halloween saying...mine was on the scrapbook paper I was using. Decoupage under and on top of it. Let dry between coats for a smoother finish!

Next, decoupage the rest of your jar and sprinkle glitter all over. Touch up areas over and over until you have good coverage.

Let dry, add sheer wired bow. You can use this for candy, or place a small candle inside...looks very pretty at night with a candle flickering inside.

The jars are precious. I don't know much about decoupage, but you just use mod podge for the whole thing, right? I'm going back to your list!! lol!!
So cute, Debbie!!

Dear Debbie,
I have been just surfin' alot of blogs catching up on what I have missed and unable to sleep.
I thought we followed each others blog but when I clicked on to sign in it came up the follower button. I am so sorry...I LOVE YOUR BLOG AND SCRIPTURES. I would love permission to use the 3 post cards you used at the end of your post...for my own personal use....my daughter Amy loved Halloween and she passed away Oct 23, 2009. I WANTED TO COPY THEM AND USE THEM IN A PROJECT FOR HER. I LOVED YOUR PRETTY CANDY CORN PROJECT.
