http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ Today is Met. Monday and I'm playing along!
This is such a great project, so easy and it involves spray painting! So of course it is a before and after Metamorphasis! Gotta love it! Any matching candle holders pretty much will do! Get out the spray paint...I like black matte at the moment.
Next I used a Martha Stewart paper punch to punch a pretty edge along the bottom of the paper I was using. I also printed on the cardstock I was using a Gothic looking alphabet...nothing fancy.
I just basically glue gunned the paper to the candle holder. Then I decided to embellish it a little more and added rhinestones.
Here I added some ball fringe which I love!
Here I used a wooden candle holder and I glued on a canning jar lid to it for a larger size candle to sit on. Then I added the paper and fringe.
You could set candles on them, little pumpkins or fake cupcakes! Which I will show later this week. This was soooo much fun. You could use any color scheme, beach colors (light blue, beige and white-tiny shells!) Or how about a Christmas theme. Use metallic spray paint in silver or gold and beautiful scrapbook papers! Or even an all white theme! My mind is a whirl of ideas.
Thanks for dropping by. Let me hear about your ideas! I love brainstorming!
Be sure to see more DIY ideas, and thrifty ideas. With a little spray paint we can change our little local worlds! hahahaha
