Black and Pink and Decoupage....oooohhhh

Welcome Everyone to another wonderful Pink Saturday! Please stop by Beverly's blog to see what all the Pink fun is all about!
I have decided to do a little more Decoupaging! One of my F-A-V-O-R-I-T-E crafts. It is soooo easy peasy and so much fun!

I took several black and pink scrapbook papers (couldn't make up my mind at first!) and an UUUUUUGLY METAL TRAY! I mean WHO comes up with these ugly Christmas designs? Blaghhhhh! Spray painted the outer edges and underneath....

Above I poured out the M.P. on the tray...just because it is easier. I traced the bottom of the tray onto the paper and applied it...smoothing out as I went along....
Below is the end result!

I set a few of my daughter's perfume bottles, clock, candle, small things on another one I did last week and propped up the pink and black one behind it. It didn't show when I layed it down....Hello!

Hope you try it...after all they are practically giving these metal trays away at the thrift store...Or hey...get one from your relative who stores everything and never gives anything away! Do you have any relatives like that? They save anything....just in case....never throw away a thing...they might need it. I hope my mother and mother-in-law are not reading this (big guilty smile!)

Blessings,
Debbie

Debbie, this is so neat! Now you have made me want to run out and buy some Mod Podge! LOL! Like I need to take on another project when half finished ones are calling my name. ;-)

Lovely Pink Saturday post and sweet blog, too. Woke up to a dusting of snow on the ground so even thought this isn't Saturday I really needed a boost! Today you made me smile...

Sorry, I didn't get to see everyone yesterday. I had important business. My 11 year-old grandson was playing football and he wanted Mimi to go to the out-of-town-last-of-the-season-game. THEY WON AGAINST AN UNDEFEATED TEAM! WOO-HOO! 35 - 17☺

Hope the coming week blesses you with sunshine, happiness and good friends.
