Hooked on Decorating for Fall

Hey there everyone! So glad the weekend is upon us. I sit at work....and sometimes...think of all the projects I want to do on the weekends! Do you ever daydream....about projects of all things?I zipped into a couple of consignment/thrift shops during lunch. Found some wooden plates, bowls, etc....and thought I would use them for candle plates for the fall!

Next I took some very old pecans, brushed glue on one end, added some Martha Stewart glitter in fall colors and painted several. I added a little glitter to some old plastic pumpkins as well.
I started first with the painted wooden plate, plain pecans and a candle...then I added more till I was happy.
Next I added the glittered pecans and I love it.


It just added a little something to my hoosier area in the kitchen.

The vintage gold egg plate is from my hubby's grandmother, it has a rooster
in the middle of it. We have a chicken ranch so it is kind of neat that a couple of generations ago...someone had a chicken/rooster collection and now we have it plus several other neat things.
