Welcoming fall with Autumn Decor!

WELCOME EVERYONE!!!! JOIN IN ON THE FUN WITH MELISSA @http://theinspiredroom.net/ FOR FALL NESTING WEEK.
Please come in! I planted some welcoming sunflowers in large planters by my front door. They are now taller than I am! Hubby said he needed a machete on the front porch they were so big! This is just ONE that has bloomed and the rest(there are several) look like a sunflower jungle in this one planter. Oh my...what was I thinking!

A few fall quilts....to snuggle in with a cup of hot apple cider....cozy up next to a fire with a good book or quilting project.

A fall stitchery I finished a few years ago and then put in an unfinished frame that I spray painted black and stenciled with stars...I love walking through my home and enjoying the fragrance of fall....perhaps some apple pie baking....or hot coffee brewing...
I found some wooden items (thrifty finds) and decided to paint them and use them for my fall decor. I just love wooden bowls filled with fall items, or just fresh vegetables picked from the garden.

I painted the little white bench black and set the rooster and fall leaf on it...

The large dough bowl was filled with fall items to complete the look on one of my dining room hutches.

I filled it with pinecones, pecans, fake ( hey I live in a farmhouse...we say fake not faux) fall fruits and vegetables, fall leaves and a tiny bale of hay that got covered up!
Next this little spoon rack/shelf got painted and the fall decor found its way on it as well!

Below is the top of my hoosier that my hubby got me years ago....this is always full of fun items to welcome in the holidays or the seasons.

... the frame was painted black, stamped with family, faith and friends on it, then matted my cross stitch with scrapbook paper...one of my favorite things to do!

A little fall decor for my bunnies in the laundry room. They love fresh veggies...pumpkins!
This is a little fall quilted piece I made last year...

Last I spray painted a metal plant container sort of a pumpkin color and planted fall mums in it. It is so wonderful to walk on the porch and see fall flowers in abundance celebrating this wonderful time of year! Hopefully they will grow and fill up the container and overflow!
Hope you enjoyed your visit!
Be blessed!
