Welcome to another Tablescape fun filled post! Since it is summer and we are trying to lighten things up, I decided to go a little with the Shabby summer style.
I covered all my chairs with lighter fabric slipcovers...I will show you how I made them tomorrow...and it was easy.

A sweet little flickering candle in pink...

Old silver has a place near the sugar and creamer....

and I will never tire of making roses out of napkins...thank you Martha Stewart for this idea.

Be sure to notice the curtains have changed too! I replaced rooster curtains in my dining room for lighter and airier...I will use the darker curtains in the fall.

I brought in an outdoor candle holder from my patio and placed a small pink candle inside, next to the candle holder are glasses filled with ivy cuttings that I put inside a Shabby chic style planter from outdoors too.

I'm so glad you came by, can't wait to see the rest of the Tablescapes @
http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/.....so many ideas.....when is dinner?
Blessings,
Debbie

Your tablescape is lovely. I see the old toy stove. I had one just like it as a child...and the verse is perfect.
Staying busy to keep your mind off sweet daughter leaving for college, huh? Mine leaves in 17 days and the countdown is on.....
Very pretty shabby chic table. Love the chair covers.
A very pretty tablescape. Love all of your things!
Debbie,
I love your tablescape. It looks so Laura Ashley or Ralph Laurenish. I also love the tablecloth and the pink candle and holder.

Hi Debbie! Love your tablescape! I will have to try these napkin roses sometime.. and I love that you change your curtains by season. I do too, and I have an Aunt who thinks I go one step too far, for doing it. With ALL I do, she thinks my son will NEVER leave the house! (0; Got my first flag, the pink one done this morning!... So please do stop by on Pink Saturday to see it! I'm going to start a blue one next. If you want a sneak peek, let me know! ~tina

I too am on the college countdown. My baby is leaving for college in a few weeks as well. I will miss him very much and am anxious to see the man he will become.
