Tablescaping Today!

A little summer lovin' on the porch! We have been enjoying juicy sweet watermelon. We usually grow some but all our workers (kids) seem to be off somewhere else! Did you know the hotter the weather, the sweeter the melon? I only know that trivia because I am married to Mr. Farmer!

These little salad plates were from Target at Easter. I love them because if you drop them, they don't break!
I will show you how to make these cute watermelons next week. The free pattern which I'll give you the link to is so easy peasy! I could make a bunch!
This is our back patio where we eat during the summer. I love it, but we do have to use Citronella candles to get rid of annoying bugs and flies....

I found this perfect watermelon dish at the thrift store and the little blue vase with the watermelon on it too.

Wish you were here for a visit. Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to visit Susan @http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ for more Tablescaping fun!
Blessings,
Debbie

I wish I was there too, Debbie! Not that I'm that much of a watermelon fan, although my son absolutely LOVES it, but I would love to sit down at your table and chat with you! Everything looks so inviting! It's neat that ya'll enjoy dinners out on your porch! I know all about the bugs and the citronella....we have way too many mosquitoes!

By the way, I love your idea of adding one thing a week to my bedroom...thing is it needs a paint job too! But you just might be on to something there....

Have a great Thursday! :)

What a pretty table. . . perfect for watermelon. We bought a watermelon this week, but it was not very good. I can't wait until later in the summer when we get a nice firm tasty melon.
