First of all I used black and white check fabric that I sewed into a tablecloth, added a black toille fabric that I just sewed into a square to use as a table topper....used two different napkins that I found at local consignment stores....
I also found two little bird cage candle holders...this was right up my alley! I added a bird's nest.

This little guy is hard to see, but he is a black bird on an old black urn.
The bird candlesticks I found at Salvation army and they still had the price tags on them from Pier One! Yippeeee....Happy Dance....
Underneath the little glass dome are lemon bars, they were still warm and were fogging up the glass!! Hahahha...boy were they delicious though....
Below is a table runner that I made for my mother, it is from a Thimbleberries pattern.

The black bowls were from Target, on sale after Halloween. You never know when something like this will come in handy!
Thank you wonderful neighbors for stopping by!
Blessings,
Debbie

I love the way you layered all the black and white. You really know how to put things together! I also love your site and that you are enjoying life in the country. I hope one day we can live out on a farm. I love the slower pace where you can really appreciate God's wonders and family!
Your table is so inviting and I love the layering and textures. Black and white is an easy and classic look to add to, don't you think?

Hello Debbie! I'm so glad you came over to say hi! It brought me over to your blog! It's beautiful! Your tablescape is beautiful! I love Black and White with yellow! Your home is wonderful! I was reading your profile and we're the same age! You reminded me of my younger sister because she loved music! All kinds of music! Was always druming on something! Just like you said about the music playing in your head all the time! And her fav movie was Holiday Inn w/Crosby & Kaye! She'd always want to watch that movie and bake cookies! Sadly, I lost her 7 yrs. ago, but I have such wonderful and funny memories! Your home looks so warm and inviting and happy! Can't wait to visit again! God Bless you today! Lauralu :)
You are very talented! I love your table. Black and white checks and toiles look so great together and your birds on the urns and the candles in the cages. Very creative and very pretty.
