What'cha working on?-tablerunner

Hello everyone! I have had so much with this spring fabric I got at Joann's on my birthday shopping trip. Hubby actually took me himself! Some women like diamonds and jewelry...I like fabric...I get goose bumps just going into the fabric store....and have actually stopped breathing a time or two when I've seen something that "gets to me". You know that certain something that makes you do the 'happy dance' no matter who is watching! Big smile!

I have not sewn anything too difficult. I have strip sewn several spring colors together and then made a few table runners. They are quick and I love what they do to a table.
Look at this sweet Easter fabric!!!!! And ric rac I found at the thrift store! I LOVE ric rac!
Tomorrow I will post the whole table for the Tablescape Thursday. I made a sweet tablecloth as well to match all the spring colors! See you soon!
"So that the times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord." Acts 3:19
Thank you to those of you asking about my mother. She is doing much better from her hip surgery and is whizzing around the house with her walker!

Hi, Debbie :) Your runner is so very spring like and perfect!

I love fabric, too. It's amazing how you can just keep buying that stuff up, huh? So many things to choose from!

Have a great day!

Hi Debbie,
I love that variagated rick rack. I, too, am really into rick rack lately. (I used to hate it!) :)

I agree that tableruners are such fun -- both to make and to use.

I noticed that bunny quilt on your sidebar. It's so cute!

The runner is so cute! You should open an Etsy store, if you don't have one!

Hi Debbie,

I LOVE your table runner....it just screams Spring!! I am so glad your Mom is doing so much better and getting around well on her walker. YAY!!

I have had a sewing machine for a long time but never really used it. I found a little sewing shop in town that will give lessons...2 hours for $15.00. I think I am going to look into that after Spring Break. Then maybe I can show some pretties I whip up!!!♥

Oh I know what you mean about fabric, I can spend hours and hours in the fabric store. I always have to walk all the aisles at least 2 or 3 times and drool over all of it. I can't wait to see the runner and tablecloth. Hugs, Marty

Be a sweetie,
