Welcome again to fun and fabulous Tablescape Thursday hosted by Susan @
http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ Be sure to visit her.

I'm at my sweet mother's house who is much better after hip surgery. Boy don't get in the way of one of her walkers when she's heading somewhere she will run you over! Big smile! anyhoo. This is her table and dishes. She has these lovely floral dishes from Target a few seasons back. I used a pink tablecloth, and some of her spring decorations. The centerpiece is an egg wreath laid flat with a hurricane lamp in the center, some Easter grass and a pink candle. Next to it is a small container with silk roses.

Yes my mother's house is overflowing with silk and fake flowers and plants. She adores them. Who am I to tell her that silk and fake are out. She'd be heartbroken. Who are we kidding! She doesn't care what's in or out....touch her silk flowers and you might get wacked with her walker!

Next, my sweet mother in love gave my mom these napkin rings...they are the most beautiful roses. It feels like a silk flower that has been covered with some harder substance. Not sure what they are made of but they are beautiful up close.

For the bird's nest I took a small terra cotta pot and placed a mini wreath on top...filled it with pink grass...added little eggs and little chicks from Michael's.

So glad you stopped by!
Blessings,
Debbie

I love the colors! Your centerpiece wreath with the hurricane is really nice; my disabled son just broke the base to my hurricane so now you gave me a great idea on how to use it. The pink chicks were really sweet. I also loved your mothers chairs. They looked really nice with the pink table. Glad to hear she is moving around.
I love your springtime table, especially those cute little chicks!!! The dishes are sweet and beautiful!
Perfect for Spring! Love the little chicks!

Now you've got me itching to do a pink tablescape -- yours is very pretty -- my best to your Mom-- I went through this with my late Mother. She was a trooper, and it sounds like yours is, too.
