Hello ladies and welcome to another Pink Saturday! Thank you Beverly for hosting this fun!
Check her blog @

Don't you love Vintage Easter pictures. I can't seem to get enough of them...they are sweet and I love the little chicks and bunnies, colored eggs etc...

This pink egg is just perfect in this frame. I found several unfinished frames at the thrift store and have since decoupaged scrapbook papers in spring colors on them and then framed these free images that I found on the internet.

I added scrapbook letters from Michaels to this frame to spell "spring"....the photo is from one of many sites I visited....I just googled "free vintage images, Easter" and several sites came up with adorable vintage images to print off for free. I set my printer to "best" and photo paper or photo cardstock...this makes the image much clearer and cleaner looking....

Some of you that follow my blog know that we live on an 'actual' chicken ranch! And we are ordering a few hundred baby chicks (in the mail) this week or next....depending on our weather!

Woohoo! I hope you find something you will enjoy and can maybe print off for Easter decorations at your home. This is one of the most important celebrations of the year at our house and we really celebrate!!!!
Blessings,
Debbie
Luke 24:6 "He's not Here! Jesus has been brought back to life!...The women left the tomb and told 'everything' to the apostles and all the others!" (These
women sounded like bloggers!)

I frame these little images too, but I really loved your idea about scrapbook paper on the frames, I hadn't thought of that. You're so creative, I get so many ideas from you. Thank you :-)
Blessings,

Such a lovely PINK post, thanks so much for sharing, have a very blessed PINK Saturday !
Debbie,
The little chicks in that pink frame are just too cute :) You decorate in a different style than I do but I always love to see your stuff! It's so well displayed and so perfect :)
My DD's Kindergarten class is trying to hatch out chicks right now! Aften cannot wait! She was angry when she found out it was going to be at least 3 weeks! LOL They need to find homes for the babies when they are born and I bet she'll be begging but we just don't have the space for chickens and well, our neighbors a few doors up tried the chicken thing and annoyed the crap out of everyone. The rooster was waking us up! LOL
You know, way back in the fall when you sent me those towels, I stitched up a really nice Thanksgiving stitchery for you as a thank you! I have yet to send it! I just found it last week and I am SOOOO sorry! I need to get to the post office and get it out to you. It's a little late...or early for this years' decorating, I guess :)
Have a great weekend!
Leslie

Debbie,
I don't always comment but I do check your blog all the time. You look like you are ready for Easter and Spring with all your decorations and crafty ideas. How cute.
You have a beautiful inspirational blog!!! Love the chicks card, and scriptures. I'm jealous you are getting some sent to you. I'd love to see them. We used to have chickens, only 4, which we raised from chicks. When we no longer have a "bird dog" I'll get more. Happy Pink Saturday!!!
Sweet vintage images! Happy Pink Saturday!

You did a very lovely job on the frames for your pics. I love it that you are going to have those adorable little peeps running around. Remember Lucy and Ethel on Ricky and Lucy's house in the country??
Happy Pink Saturday.

I love your frames, and the image you chose is perfect! Happy PS!
Trying to visit blogs between thunderstorms today (Spring is here) Happy Pink Saturday ~ Susan
What a great idea! I love the idea of using scrapbook papers. At least it gives me an idea for using the 4,000 sheets I've collected. OK.....not 4,000, but LOTS! :-) Seems I do a better job of collecting scrapbook supplies and tools than actually taking the time to put a SINGLE page together. OOOPS....
Happy Pink Saturday!
Blessings,
Spencer
Such adorable frames... Happy Spring!!
Hi Debbie:
I love the vintage Easter pictures too. I think I like anything Easter, as it is in pastels and pinks.
I got 10 chicks last Wed. tried to order them online but they were sold out, so I bought some from a friend who just got hers. They are so cute. I just hope they are hens and not roosters.

Your frames came out so cute and what a great idea to use free vintage images!
